Congratulations Mounties on your 25th straight Championship! ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// *Diffl = Goals Differential = Goals-For divided by Goals-Against. This gives an indication of scoring skills and defensive ability combined into one statistic. The higher the number, the more powerful the team is compared to others playing at the same level. A rating of 1.00 would indicate that the team allows as many goals as it scores. A rating of 2.00 would indicate that the team scores 2 goals for every goal that it allows. Correspondingly, a rating of .50 would indicate that opponents, on average, score twice as many goals against the team as the team scores for itself. During the season, teams who are tied, are positioned according to their differential, with the higher differential being placed above the other team. This is not one of the tie-breaker factors used to seed teams in the play-offs.
