Evo "Curly" Donnini has
decided to hang up his apron and vest and take a break! At
84 years of age, he's due!
Curly has been working
in this restaurant since he and his wife Martha opened it during
the Fall of 1962. If you've ever visited us, you
know that Curly's personality is what has kept the place open
all these years. He's always ready with a joke, a
wink and a warm greeting. Curly always greeted his customers
with enthusiasm and never failed to make everyone feel welcome. There's
no question, Curly has the perfect personality to be a restaurant
owner!
But on January
1st, 2002, the ownership of Ciro's passed to another group. Curly
enthusiastically eyed his retirement and the possibility of watching
the Red Sox win a World Series!
As of February, 2009, Curly is in fine health and spirits,
living in "The Village at Waterman Lake"
and extends to all of his friends his very best wishes
for a healthy and prosperous year!
